Deborah Ann Lyons

January 18, 1950 — March 26, 2012

Deborah Ann (Price) Lyons, 62, was born January 18, 1950 and departed this life March 26, 2012 following a serious illness. She was raised in Weirton W.VA by her grandmother and three aunts. She attended West Virginia State College where she received her degree in Education. After graduation, she moved to Columbus where she taught for the Columbus School System for 32 years at Johnson Park Middle School and Brookhaven and East High Schools. She married Thomas Lyons in March, 1974 and they had 38 wonderful years together. She was an active member of Ebenezer Full Gospel Baptist Church where she served in many ministries. She was predeceased by her father, Edward A. Price, grandmother, Bertha A. Price, 1 aunt and 3 uncles. She is survived by husband, Thomas Lyons, mother, Bernice Stevens of Blairsville, Pa.; sisters, Deborah Cole, Rebecca Price, Cynthia Price, Jennifer Price Cobb and Carole Bell all of Columbus; Zandra Clayton Mona Stevens of Blairsville, Pa.; aunts , Gladys Price, Elizabeth Young and Margaret Williams of Weirton, W.VA; step mother, Rosa Price; 6 nephews and 1 neice and 4 sister-in-laws.
