Elizabeth (Gibson) Ware

Evangelist Elizabeth Ware, age 88, was called home on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, she was a devoted Christian who attended Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband George Ware, children Felicia Diane Ware and Bishop George Anthony Ware, Sr., mother Epsie Manuel, and father Thomas Gibson. She leaves behind four children, Fred McDowell, Jeffery McDowell, Linda K. Ware, and Crystal (Richard) Jones; nine grandchildren, Douglas McDowell, Mike McDowell, Diane McDowell, Chris Ware, L. Michelle (Chris) Pace, George A. Ware, Jr. (Jasmine), Trayvon (Persilla) Ware, Aaliyah Jones, and Kieara Jones; daughter-in-law Theresa Ware; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
