Frances Haynes

On Christmas Eve 2024, our Beloved Frances Louise (Graves) Haynes went to be with the Lord, with her family by her side.

She was born July 30,1952, in Columbus, Ohio to Mozella Thompson. She was raised by her mother and Step-Father Robert Thompson.

Frances was a proud graduate of Columbus West High School. Soon after school she started her family with her late husband, Edward Sr. Frances worked different jobs including JC Penny and as a Columbus Public School Bus driver. Later having to stay home and care for her late mother Mozella.

Frances always stayed close to her beloved Hilltop roots. She attempted to attend all her West High reunions and Hilltop Bean Dinners. Her interests included cooking, watching the cooking channel and spending time with her cousins. Her biggest joy was watching her grandsons Kenny and Trey play baseball.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and husband. Robert Thompson, Mozella Thompson, Robert Thompson Jr., Edward Haynes Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son and daughter; Edward Jr. (Altavez), Lisa; two grandchildren Kenneth (Kenny) and Edward III (Trey). Two brothers Walter, Aaron (Gale). Niece Rachel. Other survivors include cousins, nephews, nieces and cherished friends by whom she will be sorely missed.
