JB Youngblood was born July 3, 1935 in Troy, Alabama to the late Elzie and Sarah Downing Youngblood. JB accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. He joined the Oak Grove Baptist Church where he played piano and later became a Junior Deacon. JB moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1957. He met the love of his life in 1958 and married in 1959, to Lucille Coleman. He worked construction and at Mill's Restaurant where he rose to become chef. He later worked at Kroger meat plant on Poth Road until he retired. JB was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Willie B., Clinton, and Temolia Youngblood and Alonzo and Willie James Brantley; and sisters, Carrie Lee, Elizabeth, and Diccie Mae Youngblood and Mary Lenord Brantley. JB is survived by his wife; daughters, Alfaye Youngblood, and Linda (Frank) Coleman Muhammad; two grandchildren, Jason Muhammad and Shanna (Hector) Muhammad Conesa; two brothers, Roscoe Youngblood of Detroit and Leonard Youngblood, Jr. of New Jersey; two sisters, Viola Robinson and Leola Kendrick of Detroit Michigan; Four great grandchildren, Gabriel, Hunter, Ezekiel, and Arielle; a special nephew, Eddie Hill; a very special friend, Kimberly LaPlace of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
