Larry Leslie Adams

Larry Leslie Adams was born January 8, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio. He was a graduate of South High School class of 1961 where he excelled in track. He proudly served this country in the United States Air Force. He was an active member and served as a deacon at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. After many years of service, he retired from the United States Postal Service. On August 29, 2018, Larry transitioned from this world. He is preceded in death by his father Leslie Larry Abney, mother Cheryl S. Penn-Adams, and stepfather Curtis Adams, Sr. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maggie Adams; sons, Larry Guy (Ericka) Adams, Vincent (Toni) McElroy, Virgil (Wylene) McElroy, and Vernon (Georgette) McElroy; brothers, James T. (Barbara) Sullinger, Curtis E. Adams, and Clifford (Lois) Adams; sister, Andrea R. Adams; and a host of grandchildren and nephews.
