Sandra Kay Berger was born on March 2, 1953 to Richard Wallington and Audrey Cowans in Beckley, West Virginia. Sandra received her formal education through the Beckley, West Virginia School System, where she excelled in her studies in becoming a CNA. Sister Berger accepted Christ as her Savior in 1969 where she attended Apostolic House of Worship as a faithful member who truly loved the Lord. She served as an usher and later as a Nurse at the church. After retirement, Sandra still enjoyed helping people as her occupation as a CNA and a PCA did not end after she stopped working. Many of the neighborhood children looked up to her as the “Neighborhood Mom”. Sandra Berger was truly blessed. She was born on March 2, 1953, and departed this life on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Richard Wallington; mother, Audrey Cowan; brother, Richard Wallington Sandra leaves to cherish her memory, five children, Kecia (Michael) Galloway, Tyrone (Randee) Berger, Angela (Omar) Johnson, Jeremiah (Claudia) Berger, Michelle (Tyrone) Veney; sisters, Wanda Cowans, Debra Dillard and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and many friends.
