Warren Gamaliel Wade, Sr. was born August 11, 1920, to the union of E.T. Wade and Nanny Dabney in Fayette County, West Virginia. In May 1936, he graduated from Quinnimont Junior High School in Quinnimont, West Virginia. He served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge on April 1, 1946. Warren worked the railroads for many years, and later worked at National Geographic and was employed part time at Plaza Properties. He attended North Adult High School, where he learned the trade of glass blowing. Warren G. Wade, Sr. received the Lord as his personal Savior, and on April 30, 2009, he was baptized by Rev. Deborah L. Dobbin while at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was called home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2014 while at The Ohio State University Hospital East. In addition to his parents, Warren was predeceased by his brothers, Noah L. Wade, Murry C. Wade, Edward Wade, and Lee C. Wade, sister Gertrude Walker, and stepsons, Bruce and Stephen Wade. Warren leaves behind his daughters, Betty J. Wade, Gladys E. Martin, Teresa M. Wade, and Julia M. (Lonnell) Randall; son Warren Victor Wade; stepsons, Danny and Christopher Wade; sister Audrey (Richard) Culley; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives who will hold memories of him in their hearts.
