William Peppers Jr.

William E. Peppers, Jr. (Pep) age 81 was born on 9/29/1942. He went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 17, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his father William Peppers Sr., mother Erdell Peppers, son Edward William Peppers and grandson Brandyn K. Allen. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Trina A. Peppers, daughter Tracey Mitchell, sons William E. Peppers III and Antany D. Peppers (Jeandra) sister Margaret Newton, grandchildren Joshae, Kris, Breanna, Marcus, Destiny and Jazmyn, great grandchildren, cousins and a whole host of other relatives and friends.

William was a member of Boy Scouts of America. He graduated from East High School, attended OSU and obtained his Master Barber’s license from Columbus Barber College. He was a veteran of the USAF serving during the Vietnam war. Upon returning home he worked in his father’s barber shop (Peppers Barber Shop on Mt. Vernon Ave.). He took ownership of the business when his father passed in 1984. He also worked for TWA/AA for 32 years. In his spare time he taught his kids to play pool, loved jazz, played piano and was an avid bike rider. He also loved his dogs.

He was an usher at Trinity Baptist Church, then joined Shiloh Baptist Church, then Faith Ministries and is now a current member of Vineyard Columbus on Cooper Rd.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following at Vineyard Columbus, 6000 Cooper Road, Westerville, OH 4308. Burial will follow in procession to Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
