Aarius Earl Saunders was born February 23, 2000, to the union of Earl S. Saunders Jr. and Charlene Saunders in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Laws, and Phyllis Stephens.
Aarius attended The Charles School at Ohio Dominican through the 10th grade until his illness took over his ability to complete his schooling.
Although there were many things Aarius’ illness prevented him from doing, he was able to enjoy life as an avid movie watcher, a talented artist in drawing, making sarcastic jokes, and playing video games with Fortnite as his favorite. Favorite food runs were to Wingstop, Subway, and Chipotle. Aarius was a bright light to many as he consistently displayed happiness and courage as he battled through his illness. All who knew him said he never complained about anything he was going through physically, mentally, and emotionally, which speaks volumes to the mental and emotional strength he carried. His presence will truly be missed by family and friends.
Aarius was preceded in death by: Diane Carpenter and Marsha Miller.
