Agnes Elaine (Walker) Tucker-Colwell

Agnes Elaine Tucker-Colwell, age 85, passed away in her sleep on November 25, 2014. She was born on June 27, 1929, to Dr. Watson Walker and Lizzie Chivers in LaGrange, Georgia. Agnes married Jimmie L. Tucker and from their union five children were born: Patricia Trish Johnson, Frank L. Tucker, Ronald H. Tucker, Leon E. Tucker, and Herbert G. Tucker. She retired from Riverside Methodist Hospital where she worked as a surgical technician in the Labor and Delivery unit. She was lovingly cared for by her granddaughters, Tonya and Tosca, and great grandchildren, Destiny and Noah. Agnes was preceded in death by her mother, husband, William Colwell, daughter Patricia, and sons, Leon and Herbert. She is survived by sons, Frank and Ronald (Avise); grandchildren, Tosca and Tonya Jordan, Alan Tucker, Terena Howard, Jeffrey Tucker, Christopher Tucker, Anthony Tucker, Danielle Griffin, Sheyton Tucker, and Kiaonna Tucker; twenty-one great grandchildren; her relatives, Ruby Moore and Family of LaGrange, Georgia, Jimmie and Marcellus Gray of Cleveland, Ohio, Ida Ruth and Millard Medley, Elizabeth Liz Merritt, Mabel Hodge, Georgia Tucker, Clarence Kearns, Brenda Lee, all of Columbus, Ohio, and Dr. Beverly Adams of Virginia; special neighbors, The Eberhart, Carter, Yarborough, and Brown families; special friend, Ms. Bee; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
