Albert Lewis Wilson, Sr., known also as Tux, 69, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Grant Medical Center. Born September 23, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio, he was a 1961 graduate of South High School and retired from Columbus City Schools. Albert had a love for basketball. He will forever be missed and remembered in the hearts of his family. Preceded in death by parents James Lewis Wilson, Sr. and Alberta Brown Wilson, sister Joan McCreary, brothers John (Agnes) Walden and James L. Wilson, Jr., and nephew Albert Patterson, Jr. Survived by wife Chrissie A. Wilson; daughters Leondra (Willie) Thompson and Renai (Monterell) Payne; sons Albert (Denica) Wilson and Shawn (Tanika) Wilson; sisters Marcella (Albert Sr.) Patterson and Barbara (Howard) Thornton; brother Samuel (Priscilla) Wilson; 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild; sister-in-law Pam Wilson; brother-in-law Marvin McCreary; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
