Alesha Deen (Thornton) Ghee

Alesha Deen Ghee, a loving mother, wife and friend, went to be with the angels on December 8, 2012 surrounded by her family at The Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 24, 1966, to Claude and Sonya Thornton. Alesha's spirit blessed all that it touched, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She lived her life with passion and immense love for everyone. Family was everything to her. Alesha was so kind and sweet, and just a joy and a divine pleasure to have her in your midst. She was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Community Baptist Church and an employee of Chamberlain College of Nursing. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Julius Ghee, and her lovely and beautiful daughter, Jessica D. Ghee. She is survived also by her parents Claude (Sandy) Thornton, and Sonya Thornton; her siblings, Dennis (Anita) Cooper, Wauvette (Vincent) Duncan, Jermaine (Toia Willis) Thornton; aunts Joyce Tucker and Marva Dawson; uncle Lester (Geraldine) McKinnon; In-laws, Omar and Diane Hassan; along with numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces and -nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
