Alex Lavette

Alex Lavette, Jr., age 81, went home to the Lord Saturday, March 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born November 17, 1929 in Chattanooga, TN. He was predeceased by his mother, Ms. Effie Thomas; daughters, Charlotte Jones and Lynette McConnell, and other beloved relatives and friends. he leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Lorraine Gwinn and Sheri (Rudy) Williams; son, Minister Richard Wilson; 13 grandchildren, and many other great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The family would like to express its deepest and sincere gratitude to his very dear friends, Ms. Patricia Harris and Ms. Sheryl Walker for being excellent neighbors to their father.
