Alice Middleton Davis

Alice Middleton Davis, age 89, went home to the Lord Sunday, June 30, 2013 at National Church Residences, Stygler Road after a long illness. She was born February 15, 1924, the 8th of 11 children to the late Will P. and Elizabeth Middleton, in Ft. Springs, KY. She was a dedicated member of Union Grove Baptist Church, Columbus, OH for 59 years. Alice retired from Ohio Dominican College in 1995 after 17 years of service. She was predeceased by her husband, George E. Davis; and her son, Larry N. Davis. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Peter Davis; sisters, Anna Belle Stepp, of Versailles, KY; Virginia Edwards, of Sacramento, CA; niece, Mary Laine, of Lexington, KY; sister-in-law, Ollie M. Phillips, of Pikesville, MD; very special daughter, Sharon (Ray) Bowman; grandsons, Eric Tony Little and Sherman Jackson; great-grandson, Eric Barnett; special son, Nathanael (Jan) Carter, of Versailles, KY; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
