Allice Jean Brown (Saunders) was born May 2, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio to the late James and Ethel (Bowen) Saunders. Allice retired from the federal government after 30 years of service, many of them at DCSC. Allice was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. But above all, she loved the Lord. She was a former member of Oakley Full Gospel Baptist Church. Allice departed this life on November 6, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Brown; brothers, Lloyd and James Saunders Jr.; sister, Anna Lucille Price and great grandson, Jay Sean Brown. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Ethel (Littleton) Jackson, Raymond (special friend, Kayrita Henderson) Brown, Teresa Frazier and Charles A. Brown; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; in-laws, Louis (Paris) Gilliam, Beverly Lipkin, Elsie Stevens, Blanch (Rich) Givens and Juanita (Ted) Strickland; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
