Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend Allie (Walker) Watson was born on April 7, 1933 in Molena (Pike County), Georgia. She was the second of three children from the union of the late William and Della (McGough) Walker. She passed peacefully from this life to her eternal home with the Lord on January 22, 2022. Allie moved from Georgia to Columbus Ohio in 1950 with her first husband, James Graggs Sr. She raised 6 children while working in a manufacturing plant and in domestic service. In 1983 she married the love of her life, Richard Watson. Richard and Allie enjoyed their love, life, and family for 33 years. During that time they were both devoted and faithful members of Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith. Allie will be remembered by many for her sweet and giving spirit and her kindness. She was always willing to offer help when someone was in need. Allie also had a passion for cooking. She would prepare elaborate meals for holidays and family gatherings. There was always more than enough and no one left the table hungry; leftovers were always available. Some of her favorite things were traveling, flowers, and fashion. As we learn to move forward without Allie being physically present, we will feel her presence whenever we see roses and tulips - both were always present in her yard. Allie is preceded in death by her mother and father, 7 siblings: Willie Walker Jr., Johnnie Walker, William "Bill" Walker, Mildred Walker Parks, Willie Mae Dennis, Arthur Walker, and Sylvester Walker; husband Richard Watson; children: Daniel Graggs, James Graggs, and DeAnna Carone (formerly Donna Stewart), and grandson Daniel Forston. She is survived and deeply missed by her children John Graggs, Debbie Graggs-Earnest, and Angela Garnett; grandchildren Tanicca (Darjuan) Jackson, Aneasha (Fredrick) Parker, Derrick Graggs, Falena Graggs, Falissia Graggs, John Graggs II, Rhonda Reese, Branden Reese, and Tonya Reese; nieces: Ethel Bowen, Peggy Parks Miller, Phyllis Walker Rumph, Lisa Walker, and Calandra Walker; and a multitude of great-grandchildren.
