Amelia Lee Harris

Amelia Lee Harris was born September 19, 1977 in Columbus, Ohio where she remained as a lifelong resident. After earning her GED, Amelia went on to complete her certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). She loved working as an STNA and was employed by Arlington Court and Friendship Village. She enjoyed backyard cookouts, listening to music, singing, and time spent with loved ones. Amelia was known for keeping a clean home and for her love of cooking; she aspired to one day own her own restaurant. More than anything, she loved her children. They were her main priority and she worked hard to provide for them over the years. On December 28, 2017, at the age of 40, Amelia departed this earthly life while at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was preceded in death by her mother Carra Lee Harris. Left to cherish memories of Amelia are her three children, Karlisha Harris, Tyriq Harris, and Keshawn Harris; father Robert McClure; brother Robert Harris; special sister Keisha Bates; granddaughter Markayla Pressey; nieces and nephews, Sandrea Richards, Evelyn Bryant, Breanna Harris, Mirian Harris, Christian Harris, and Emon Jones; goddaughter Tiara Rose; special friend Tela Douglas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
