Amy Ruth Early

Amy Ruth Early, daughter of the late Charles and Cora Bell was born on May 17, 1924 in Athens, Ohio. She departed this life on Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Amy was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Howard; and brother, Charles Bell. She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Michael Gordon; granddaughters, Toski (Lewis) Flemister and Tiarra (Checo) Rorie; 5 great-grandchildren; brother George (Hattie) Bell; sisters, Mary Williams (Arizona) and Roberta Davis; her foster daughter, Katherine (Louis) Hill and family. Devoted nieces, Carol (James) Prater and Elizabeth Williams (Arizona); special cousin, Charlotte Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral services 11:00 am Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Second Baptist Church, 186 N. 17th St., Columbus, OH 43203. The family will receive friends at the church Monday, 10:00 am until time of service. Interment in Green Lawn Cemetery.
