Anna Elizabeth (Jackson) Sanders

Anna E. Sanders, age 78, born November 14, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Preceded in death by husband James Sanders, Sr., son James Sanders, Jr., parents Isabelle Wilson Jackson and Glenn Jackson, brothers, Alfred, Bernard, and William (Yuanita) Jackson, grandparents Anna and Willie Wilson, in-laws Margaret and Willie Gales, and nephews Kenny and Harry Jackson, Jr., all of Columbus. Survived by children Margaret (Albert) Thurman and Glenn (Nianzia) Sanders; brothers Harry Jackson and Danny (Brenda) Jackson; 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, 4 sisters-in-law, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Very special thanks to friends Frank Robinson, Mrs. Culley, Mrs. Dimmey, and Omar for their unconditional love and support. Homegoing Celebration 12 noon, Monday, July 30, 2012 at Good Samaritan Baptist Church, 1680 E. Fulton St., where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the start of service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
