Anna Elizabeth (Pillow) Mckissick

Anna Elizabeth McKissick was born January 16, 1931 in Columbia, Tennessee. She was one of five children born to Humphrey Pillow and Mary Jane (Wainwright) Pillow. Anna, or Ann was a military wife who enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and travel. She was a longtime, faithful member of Southfield Community Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a part of the Mother's Ministry. On Tuesday, January 19, 2016, Ann quietly departed from this earthly life while at her residence in Grove City, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Erwin McKissick, son Michael McKissick, three brothers, James (Essie Lee) Pillow, Albert Pillow, and Ben (Ruth) Pillow, and brother-in-law Ivory Warfield. Left to cherish memories of Ann are her two daughters, Michelle McKissick and Yolanda McKissick; son Darryl (Lisa) McKissick; sister Juanita Warfield of Columbia, Tennessee; granddaughters, Tamara McKissick and Rhonda (Avery) Green; great granddaughters Iysis, Chronda, and Whitney; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
