Anna Rene Berry was born November 30, 1938 and raised in Camilla, Georgia where she attended the public school system. In 1964, Anna and her children moved to Columbus, Ohio where she attended Bethany Baptist Church. After 25 years of dedicated service, she retired from her position as a parking attendant at Children's Hospital. On December 28, 2016, at the age of 78, Anna was called home to rest with her Lord and Savior while at Wexner Heritage House in Columbus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Berry, and parents, Ardie C. Caldwell and Ocia Lee Cole Caldwell. She is survived by her children, Angerlean (Macaette) Hammond, David Caldwell, Curtis (Dana) Freeman, Victoria Freeman, Ronald (Renee) Freeman, Joyce Long, Sharon Garner, and Calvin (Sandy) Berry; special grandchildren whom she raised as her own sons, Antonio Tony Woodfork and Wendall Long; 24 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
