Annette Eileen Shelton

Annette E. Shelton was born June 15, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio. She retired from the federal government with over thirty years of civilian service and was a longtime, active member of Family Missionary Baptist Church. Annette enjoyed bowling, going on cruise vacations and other travel excursions, and spending time with her grandchildren who affectionately call her "NaNa." On November 21, 2019, at the age of 76, Annette passed away at her Gahanna residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Shelton, parents Carl and Jessie Ruth Stringer, twin sister Jannette Porter, brother Anthony D. Stringer, and grandson Kevin A. Stringer. Left to cherish memories of Annette are her four sons, Michael (Detra), Kerry (Nikki), Kevin and Jay; brother K. Richard Stringer; grandchildren, Seniqua, Shala, Nia, Michael, Renee, Nickolas, McKenzie, Maiya, Kevin, Jaiana, Jay II, Jalen, Sa'Rai, Nasir, and Jace; and a host of other loved ones and dear friends, including special extended family, Christina, Rhonda K., Cheryl, Roberta, Keiana, Meesha, Crystal, many, many more special children and grandchildren, and BFF Pat Kendrick.
