Annie Lou Burke

Annie L. Burke, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Yorkland Park Care Center, Columbus. Preceded in death by her parents John W. Burkes and Viola Fegan Burkes, 12 brothers and one sister. She leaves to cherish her memory, 4 devoted daughters, Viola L. (Andrew) Dudley of Selma, Alabama, Mary Ellen Plummer, Kathy Jones, and Mary Jane (Caleb) Hardy; one brother Thomas (Elouise) Burke of Columbus, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including 2 devoted nieces, Linda (James) Marr and Marilyn S. Burke, and special nephew Christopher Marr. Homegoing Celebration 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair Ave., where family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until start of service. The Rev. Dr. Victor M. Davis, officiating. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
