Annie Mae Whitson, age 97, went home to the Lord Monday, January 24, 2011 at Mt. Carmel East Medical Center. Member of God’s Grace Deliverance Church. Predeceased by loving husband, Theron Whitson; mother, Dezie Wilson; father, Willy Wilson; brothers, Robert Lathan, George Washington, and Jimmy Lee; and sister, Willette. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Elder D.L. (Martha Jane) Whitson, Yvonne (Aristides) Torres and Stevie D. (Pam) Whitson; sisters, Ruby Bryant and Florence; great nieces, Virginia (John) Bryant and Dovie Thornton; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
