Anthony Bernard Walker “Tony”

August 19, 1953 – October 23, 2022

*This online tribute is dedicated to honor our brother’s life and legacy who passed away on October 23, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio.

Anthony Bernard Walker known as “Tony” is the second oldest sibling out of seven (7). He graduated from Miami Killian Senior High School in Miami, Florida. He also briefly attended the University of Miami. Tony later went to the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. While serving in the Army, he met, Tina, the love of his life, in Germany and got married. They had two (2) beautiful sons, Stephen and Tyrone “Ty” Walker. His wife, Tina, unfortunately passed in 1993 of ovarian cancer.

Tony was a jovial person and had a “free spirit”. He was adventurous, intelligent, generous, kind, loving, determined and had a strong will for life. He learned the German language and could write and speak it fluently. He loved “old school R&B music”, going to the movies, and laughing and telling jokes. One of his favorite desserts’ was a sweet potato pie in which our mother made. Unfortunately, later on in Tony’s life he experienced great health challenges; however, it did not deter or impede him. He still traveled back to Germany to see his sons and grandchildren and traveled and lived in the Philippines.

Now that Tony has gained his wings, he leaves behind two (2) sons and grandchildren; three (3) sisters – Dianne Mills, Renee V. Mills, and Lyndell Mills; two (2) brothers – Leonard Mills and Chauncey Walker; three (3) nieces – Tisha Cooper, Whitney Dumeng and Gabrielle Mills and four (4) nephews – Jacob Mills, Jonathan Mills, David Bostic and Jermaine Walker. Four (4) grandchildren: Niclas Walker, Noah Walker, Sade and Marley Walker

Tony was a brother, a father, a grandfather and a great uncle.

We love you Tony and You are Forever in Our Hearts
