Arenious “Pop” Curenton passed away Sunday August 22, 2021. He was born August 22, 1929 to the late Arenious Curenton Sr. and Minnie Jeter- Curenton in Carlisle South Carolina. There he met and married Ella Mae Jeter. He moved his family to Columbus Ohio in 1951. He worked at Timken Roller Bearing for 37 years. He became a member of Centenary Methodist Church. From there he moved his church membership to Mt. Ararat Freedom Gospel Church. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, gardening, canning, and watching baseball. Pop, was a giving person always made sure that those that were in need would leave his home with bags filled with food. Preceded in death were Parents, Wife Ella Mae Curenton, Son Arenious Curenton III, Son Rodney Curenton, Brothers Cy (Joe) Curenton, James Curenton, Maceo Curenton, Andy Curenton, Perry Curenton, Adam Curenton, Russell Curenton, Roland Curenton, Sisters Gertrude Cheek, Emma Hyman Survived by Sister Minnie Lee Davis (Ralph), Washington DC, Son Russell (Sheryl) Columbus Ohio, Son Ricky Curenton Munich Germany, Daughter Wannetta Curenton-Finch Columbus Oh. Son Ken Curenton (Connie) Pataskala OH. 13 Grandchildren ,20 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
