Arthella M. Walls

Arthella M. Lenston Walls, 64, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2014 surrounded by her family at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on November 13, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky to Jerome and Inez Lenston. Arthella moved to Columbus, Ohio during the month of August in 1970. She retired from the State of Ohio after 32 years of loyal service and also was employed at the Kroger Company for 10 years. She was a dedicated and faithful member of True Foundations Ministries where she served as the treasurer until her passing. She enjoyed attending Bible Study and Sunday School. Arthella was preceded in death by husband Hubert Walls; father Jerome Lenston and mother Inez G. Lenston. Arthella leaves to cherish her memory, children, Tawanda Marie (Karl) Jenkins, Donald Lee (Nicole) Lenston and Michelle Renee Johnson; sister, Elsia S. Robertson; brothers, John Sanders, Jr., Jerome Lenston, Larry (Vera) Lenston; grandchildren, Roneka, Karl, Kalvin, Ashley, Ernest, Malcolm, Meshia Déjon, Tyler, Dreux, Jaidin; 12 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
