Arthur Edwin Early 82, was born in Columbus, Ohio in a neighborhood known as “Flytown” to Richard Foy Early and Malesia Lillian Early on May 30, 1933. He was a self-employed truck driver and also worked for General Furniture on Goodale Avenue. Proceeded in death by parents, Richard Foy and Malesia Lillian Early; brothers, Matthew Early of Washington, D.C., Robert (Faye) Early of Meherrin, VA, Glenn Foy Early of Columbus, OH; sisters, Ella Mae Willis, Thelma Lorraine Tate of Columbus, OH; nephews, Eldon Willis, Dino Willis and Dana Lyle Tate. He leaves to cherish his memory to his children, Jerry L. (Dawn) Jefferson; stepson, John W. (Denise) Waddy, JR, Valerie Dad; Rita (Sherman) Ingram; brother-in-law, Don P. Tate; favorite nephews, Don E. (Sharon) Tate, Steven A. (Jerry) Tate, Stacey Willis; niece, Natasha Otey; 7 grandchildren, one being Jerry G. Jefferson, Jr. who loved him dearly and numerous great grandchildren; special lifelong friend, Harold (Skeeter) Woodford and host of other relatives and friends.
