Barbara Ann Coleman-Leonard was born on March 10, 1045 to Lula Mae Scott and William Coleman, Sr., in Columbus, Georgia. She graduated from Spencer Senior High School, Class of 1963, and served in the Army National Guard. She also attended Church of the Living Word. She retired from Mann Nursing Home. Barbara was a compassionate, driven and outspoken woman. She dedicated her life and love to her family and friends, and contributed to many charities, her favorite being the Feed the Children Foundation. On the afternoon of January 26, 2014, Barbara Coleman-Leonard was called Home to be with our Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joycelyn L. Leonard, and two husbands, Frank Lee Leonard and Homer Lee Williams. Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter Jacqueline D. Leonard (Robert); sisters Peggy Joyce (Warren) Hodge of Augusta, Georgia, and Willene Renee Smith-Phelps (Theo) of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Jovohn Terrell Leonard, Ashley Nicole, Symone Janae and Robert Lynn Denham. Jr.; great granddaughter Aryion Almon; nieces Veronica Harris and Felicia Renee Coleman; nephews, General Smith, III, Warren Jr., and Michael Hodge; and a host of other relatives and friends.
