Barbara K. Woodland

Barbara K. Woodland was born March 31, 1931 in Akron, Ohio. She attended Fairborn Junior High School and graduated from Glenville High School. Barbara loved collecting dolls. She was a person that knew what she wanted. She was straightforward, but was kind and had a gentle spirit. Barbara married the love of her life, Sherman Woodland, Sr., October 19, 1951. To this union, Sherman Woodland, Jr. was born July 8, 1953. Sherman, Sr. was in the United States Air Force, so he and Barbara lived in multiple places. She has resided in Columbus since 1965. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Woodland, Sr. On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Barbara passed away at Carriage Court of Grove City. She is survived by her son, Sherman (Hazel) Woodland, Jr. a grandson, Tashombe M. (Tsibasa) Woodland; granddaughter, Danielle (David) Wallace; and great grandchildren, Terence “TJ” McCants, Mandisa Woodland, Jala Woodland, Andrew Wallace, Autumn Wallace Teshi Woodland and Daja Wallace. Barbara was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
