Barry Simmons

Barry Thomas Simmons was born in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, March 2, 1951, to the union of Thomas and Marion Simmons. He was the third of five sons.

Barry attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from West High School in 1968. After graduation, Barry began his work career as an employee of Columbus Window Cleaning Co. He later had a brief stint of military service before he was honorably discharged.

Barry T. Simmons, age seventy-three, departed this earthly life on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Wexner Heritage Village. He was predeceased by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Barry Matthew Simmons of Seminary, MS; brothers, Michael (Dianne) Rouse of Columbus, OH, Alan (Lena) Simmons of Enid, OK, and Jeffrey Simmons of Baton Rouge, LA; his very special companion for many years Ms. Thomasina Stinson and her family; his grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
