Bennie Green

Bennie Green, was born May 11, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. In his younger years, Bennie was a Light Heavyweight Boxer. He befriended everyone, he met no strangers. He was a very giving and caring man. On Monday, April 2, 2018, Bennie transitioned to Heaven. He is predeceased by his mother Margaret Sinkford, his wife Grace Evans Green, , sister Martha Bridges, and brothers Ernest Green and Sonny Green. Bennie leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Jackie (Deryl) Seward, Carol (Pryor) Nothstine, Marty Jacson, Bonnie Simpson, Marva Caviness, and Judy Evans; son, Oliver (Annette) Evans; special grandchildren, Shirocco, Darianne, and Savaris; niece, Cora Green; very special friend, Sarah Roddy; and a number of other grandchildren, family members and close friends.
