Beverly Ann Jeffries was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 26, 1943. Born blind, she was adopted as an infant by Chief Shepard Ellison and St Juanita Jeffries. Medical intervention helped her regain some of her sight.
She was a graduate of the Columbus School for the Blind. She later was an employee of the Vision Center and Goodwill Industries.
She was baptized into the Church of God and Saints of Christ at the age of 12 and was a faithful member of the choir until her health prevented it. She was a pillar in the Church; she served as Mother Sarah, officiating the meetings on Fifth Day evening. She praised the Lord with pure enthusiasm, often prancing through the choir exclaiming "Jesus" at the top of her lungs. She was quite a character, and she had a great sense of humor.
She is survived by her nieces St. Sherri Hunt, and St. Felicia Wynn, Nephews Robert, (Denise), Michael, and Joseph (Nichole) Jeffries, her Great Nieces and Nephews Cameron, (Becky) Jeffries, Marlana Jeffries, and Whitney Hunt. Opal, Tyra, and Alex Jeffries. Many great great nieces and nephews, her church family, and many friends.
