Brenda Ray Henderson-Evans

Brenda R. Henderson-Evans, age 62, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 10, 2017. She was born September 24, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to Armour and Lillie Henderson, Sr. Brenda started singing at an early age in her gospel choir at Mt. Moriah. Later in life she sang with groups such as Heatwave, The Ohio Players, and The Parliament Funkadelics. She loved being around her family and enjoying her life! Most importantly, she loved the Lord! Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Laverne G. Evans, mother Lillie Mae (Wilson) Henderson, father Armour Henderson, Sr., and granddaughter Daysha M. Henderson-Cobb. Brenda leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Arlicia L. Henderson and LaKetisha N. Henderson; son, Tyson B. Henederson; sister, Mary (Robert) Goff; brothers, Willie J. Henderson, and Armour Henderson, Jr.; best friend, Arletta McCrimmon of over 50 years; 2 grandchildren, Ciera Thomas and Jordyn Brown; and 2 great grandchildren, Mi’Angyel Cunningham and Ma’Kai Cunningham.
