Cameron Jerard Fields was born on July 3, 1983 in Columbus, Ohio. During his childhood years, Cameron participated in swimming at the Marion-Franklin Pool where he was awarded a trophy when he was 10 years old. He graduated from Mifflin High School in the top three percent of his class in 2001, and went on to Nashville Auto Diesel College where he earned an Associates degree in Mechanics. Cameron was employed by Safelite Auto Glass in the Referral Department, where he worked in conjunction with various insurance companies. In his sparetime, he enjoyed the company of his friends and family. He was especially proud of the births of his two children. Cameron departed this life on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at OSU East Hospital after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Zelus Fields and grandmother Trebia Fields. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter Audrie; son Jackson; mother Barbara E. Hunter of Chandler, Arizona; father Zelus Leon Fields and stepmother Sally Fields of Grove City, Ohio; brothers Xavier Fields and Ryan Hunter; grandparents Charlie and Susan Poindexter of Columbus, Ohio; grandmother Mary Dixon of Cleveland, Ohio; special friend Jennifer Delcollo; and a host of other family members and friends.
