Carl Howze Sr.

CARL EDWARD HOWZE, SR. was born on Thursday, September 9, 1948, to John Howze, Sr. and Eula Mae Jackson Howze, in Logan, West Virginia. The family moved to Columbus, Ohio, where Carl graduated from Central High School and Franklin University. Carl enlisted in the military and served in the United States Navy. He was stationed in San Diego, California during his service.

Carl enjoyed spending time with family, hanging out with his friends, and having a good time! He enjoyed watching football. The Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals were his favorite teams.

Our beloved Carl E. Howze, Sr. entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was seventy-four years of age. Carl was preceded in death by his father, John Howze, Sr.; mother, Eula Mae Jackson; son, John Howze; grandsons, Joshua Stanton and Damontay Howze; sister, Mary Tartt; and brothers, Sam Parnell, BJ Parnell, Ocie Howze, and Val Howze.

Those celebrating his legacy and cherishing his memory include the mother of his children, Deniese Howze; sons, Carl (Alexis) Howze Jr., Jason Howze, and Christopher Howze; daughters, Bridgette Casey, Crystal Casey, Saundra Stanton, Carletta (Michael Daniels) Howze, Deniese Howze, Tanika Howze, Yelena Howze, and Yolanda Howze; stepmother, Myra Howze; brothers, John Howze and Willard Parnell; sisters, Katherine Garrett, Loretta Rogers, and Elzennia Glover; a host of great-great grandchildren, great grandchildren, and grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members, and dear friends.
