Carl Walker Jr

Deacon Carl E. Walker, Jr. was born August 10, 1943 to Margaret B. Lykes and Carl E. Walker, Sr. in Columbus, Ohio. Carl was a Deacon at Columbus Bible Way Church, Incorporated, where he worshiped and served faithfully for over forty years. He retired from his role as a Sanitation Worker and a Union Steward for The City of Columbus. Carl was a man of God and an awesome Father. He had a kind and generous heart and was a cherished mentor to many. He loved to help others rebuild their lives by aiding in recovery through Alcoholics Anonymous. He led by example through the word of God and his own journey. On August 17, 2016, at the age of 73, Deacon Walker entered his eternal, peaceful rest while at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. His parents and his beloved son, Clarence Hubb, preceded him in death. Left to forever cherish his memory are his children, Cheryl Walker and Carl E. Walker, III (mother, Beverly Ann Calhoon), Debbie (Louis) Hoy, Chris Hubb, Wayne Hubb, Carlita Walker (Rob White), and Paul A. Walker, Sr. (mother, Joyce Walker); sister Berinda Walker-Thomas (Ronald); and a host of adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
