Carmen V. Chaney was born March 14th 1956 in Columbus, Ohio. She worked at the Hyatt on Capitol square for over 20 years. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a religious woman, a Jehovah ’s Witness, who made sure she put everyone before herself, until she couldn’t anymore. Carmen sadly passed away November 22nd, 2019 at the age of 63. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Victoria Barber and uncle, Jonathan Barber She will be forever be remembered by her 4 children, Doris Chaney, Sanfer Chaney III, Casaundra, and Roy; aunt, Eileen Roddey; father, Richard Turner, Sr., mother, Ethel; brothers, Richard Turner, Jr., Harold Turner, and Kevin; sister, Gladys Turner; 11 grandchildren, including special grandchild, September Jackson; and many other family, and friends.
