Carolyn Lee 'Nanny' Brandon

Carolyn Lee Brandon, affectionately known as Nanny, was born October 16, 1945 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Mildred Valentine and Zeke Bradley, and was raised by Mildred and Russell Brandon. She was a member of Mt. Victory Baptist Church and a former employee of Columbia Gas. She passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Traditions at Stygler Road in Gahanna, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories, children, Monica Brandon, Angela Williams, Jessica Turner, Erika (Fredrick) Gillins, and Keith Brandon; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, sisters Carmen Medlin and Heidi Brandon; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Service 11 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2011 at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 2121 Joyce Ave., where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the start of service. Rev. Herman H. Noble, officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Special thanks to the staffs of The James (Kenny Rd.
