Carrie Irene Stowers

Carrie I. Stowers, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 8, 2013 surrounded by her family. Carrie was born August 16, 1923 in Covington, TN. She was predeceased by her parents, Andy and Georgia Johnson; husband L.C. Stowers; son, Strenther (Steve) Stowers; granddaughter, Margaret Stowers; great-grandson, Keith Jones; five brothers and three sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Carnell and Edith Stowers, Darnell Stowers, and Carrie Evelyn Stowers, all of Columbus; sister, Aliese Glass, of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Courtez and Lori Stowers, Brian and Dawn Stowers, of Alanta, GA; Anitra, Shanelle, and Michelle Stowers, all of Bowie, MD;, Shakeena and Karsha Stowers, of Columbus; Devon Stowers, of Mississippi; Greg and Kimberly Lewis, of Groveport, OH; Ronald Elder, of Powell, OH; thirteen great-grandchildren; special nephews, Warren and Clarence (Jean) Hall, of Columbus; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
