Celeste Coralee Alexander, nee Young was born on August 20, 1948 to Lawrence and Lucille Young in Columbus, Ohio. Celeste passed on July 18, 2020 due to complications from a stroke years ago. Celeste loved children and was affectionately known as “Ms. Cee Cee”. She was an at home childcare provider for more than thirty years and “raised” many children in the community before retiring in 2015. She was also an avid crossword puzzle lover. Anytime you saw Celeste, a crossword puzzle was not too far away. Celeste also attended East High School Celeste was preceded in death by her husband David “Leroy” Alexander, her son Darian Braxton, her parents, sister Laurenceene McMullen, brother-in-law, Larry Borom and nephew Martin Borom. Left to cherish her memory are her children Ron Braxton (Adrienne), and Miosha Braxton, her sister Betty Borom, grandchildren, Brandon, Jaylen, Hayley, Jason and Tristen, nephews Sean McMullen (Nina), and Mayan, nieces Milan and Maileah McMullen, bonus sons Dennis Brooks and Michael Brooks and other family and friends.

Beginning at 9:00 am, doors will open for a walk-through viewing with staggered admission of up to 10 people at a time. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Celeste's memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
