Charles A. Palmore, age 65, was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 29, 1947 and passed away June 20, 2013 by 10AM at OSU East Hospital. Charles graduated from Sevilla High School in Sevilla Spain. Charles lived in Riverside, California for many years and then returned to Columbus, Ohio where he was a dedicated employee of General Electric for over 25 years and making Gahanna his home for over 20 years. He was also a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Charles is preceded in death by Sara and Sam Palmore, Ronald Palmore and he was the oldest of three brothers. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, daughter Sonja Areizaga (Joseph); grandson, Remi Wallace, James Palmore (Linda), nephew, Samaj Palmore, niece, Jamie Palmore, Tim Simmons, Barry Simmons, Michael Rouse, Aunt Hess and many friends and family. Charles love fast cars and fancy watches and clocks. He was an avid moviegoer and classic Motown music lover and loved to play music trivia games with you. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend. Special thanks to Mary and the staff at Zusman Hospice and the James Cancer Center at OSU. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4.
