Charles Housler Medley, 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born on July 1, 1950, to the late Hattie and Howard Lee Medley, Sr., Charles was the sixth oldest of seven children. In 1959, Charles, along with his parents and siblings, moved from West Virginia to Delaware, Ohio. While living in Delaware, he attended Delaware Hayes High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Upon leaving the military he met and later married Cheryl Annette Daniels, the love of his life. Their 41 years of enduring love together produced three children, Ramon, Dameon and Perchell. After 25 years of employment, he retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a long time resident of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Viola Bradley and Ida Smith; brothers, Howard Medley, Jr. and David Medley; and sons, Charles Levings and Ronald Rush. He is survived by wife, Cheryl Medley of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; children, Tony and James Robinson, Ramon (Anika) Medley, Dameon (Kendra) Medley all of Columbus, Ohio, Perchell (Jay) Jackson of Fort Myers, Florida, Kylia (Mann) Levings of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Robert Casey (Carolyn) Medley, and Stratton Medley of Columbus, Ohio as well as grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.
