Charles Henry Payne

Charles H. Payne, age 87, born July 30, 1932 in Columbus, OH. He proudly served his country for 4 years in Navy. Throughout his life, Charles worked at Rockwell as an electrician for 19 1/2 years, at Anheuser-Busch in mantenance for 25years, and at Master Foods (formerly Kalkan) as a production worker for 15 years. On Wednesday, May 27, 2020, Charles peacefully passed away. He was preceded in death by his parents James Payne and Nettie Payne, mother-in-law Roberta DiMcneal, son Craig Payne, and siblings Alvin, Thomas, and Marguerite Agnew Posey. Charles leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dolores Payne; sons, Brian (Sandra) Payne and Eric Payne; sister, Audrey (Ted) Alexander; grandchildren, Valerie, Tiyana, Erica, and Erin; and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Beginning at 9:00 AM, doors will open for a walk-through viewing with staggered admission of up to 10 people at a time. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Charles' memorial celebration wall to view his video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
