Charles Knight A.

Charles A. Knight, age 63, of Columbus Ohio passed from this life to his eternal home on May 03, 2024, peacefully in his home with his wife and his son after a valiant fight against cancer. Despite his illness, his will to fight was something to admire.

Born in Bangor Maine on June 22, 1960, to J.D Knight and Martha Hazel Shavers. Charles is survived by his wife Bobbi Knight, son Abram Noble, parents Victoria Knight and J.D Knight, sister Manya Williams, his two grandsons, cousins, and many friends that his life had impacted.

Charles attended East High School. Charles was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church; a brother in Christ to many, where he led the church's prison ministry; ministering the words of love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness to those who had lost their way. Charles had a great sense of humor always making people laugh and uplifting others. He expressed great empathy for those that society deems less than. He loved hard and was dedicated to showing commitment. Charles was resilient in overcoming every obstacle and adversity that life threw his way. His love of life, determination, and his will to overcome is admirable.

Charles spent many years as a custodian, taking pride in all the work and services he provided. He took pride in his community and his spirit greatly impacted those he encountered. He was a light in this world dimmed far too soon and he will be remembered by those he impacted eternally.

Charles will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is preceded in death by his biological mother Martha Shavers, and his brothers Jefferson Knight, Kenneth Knight, and J. D Knight Jr.
