Charles Lindy Woodward was born on June 17, 1927 to Charles Henry Woodward and Eva Delight Woodward in Bexley, Ohio. He retired from Borden, Inc. and also worked for many years as an auto body/collision repair technician. Lindy thoroughly enjoyed watching football and basketball games. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Los Angeles Lakers. He looked forward to attending family events and sharing quality time with his loved ones, especially on the days he spent caring for his brother, Dorsey, or driving to visit his mother, Delight. Lindy was very proud of his Native American heritage and loved to chant the Indian hymn. On Monday, October 21, 2013, Lindy was called Home to rest eternally with the Lord. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, Kenneth and Dorsey, and his uncle June. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Betty Lou (Valentine) Woodward; stepchildren, Tommy Williams, Allen Williams, Rosemary Valentine, Kathy Williams, Pauline Lindsay, and Susan Pritchett; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, cousins, Mark, Theresa, and Dela; favorite nephew, “Chicky”; and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
