Charles Rodgers Clark was born in Columbus, Ohio on Monday, January 24, 1944, to Lucille Roddy Tucker and Charles Clark. He grew up in Flytown, a neighborhood just northwest of downtown Columbus. Charles received his formal education from Columbus City Schools and was a graduate of Central High School, where he loved to play basketball. He was affectionately called Pro, Butch, or Butchie by family and friends. Charles was a United States Army Veteran. He completed two tours of duty in Korea. Charles was a very talented singer and loved recording music. Charles R. Clark, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beatrice and Eddie Clark; brothers, Melvin Clark and Eddie Clark; and grandson, Nathan Comoligo. Loving memories are cherished by his daughters, Karin (Mark) Turner, April Clark, and Angela Comoligo Ramer of Kokomo, Indiana; grandchildren, Diamond Clark, Anthony Hill, and Kenneth Hill; great granddaughter, Amora Hill; sisters, Winifred "Winnie" (Joseph) Guishard of San Bernardino, California and Diane Bridges; aunts, Helen Seastrong and Betty Jo Roddy; sister-in-law, Tanya “Tee” Clark; brother, Richard (Emma) Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.

Beginning at 10am, doors will open for a walk-through viewing. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Charles' memorial celebration wall to view his video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
