Christopher Samuel Thompson

May 23, 1922 — March 29, 2014

Christopher S. Thompson, age 92, born May 23, 1922 in Pulaski, Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at home after a long illness. A World War II Veteran of the United States Army, Christopher graduated from Bowling Green State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language. He spoke several languages with French being his favorite. He had a successful career for many years as an import/export manager of Peugeot Motors in New Jersey, and traveled to many parts of the world. Christopher loved to read, and had a particular interest in World History and Black History. He also enjoyed gardening all types of flowers, trees, fruits, and vegetables. Prior to his passing, he was blessed to become a baptized member of Trinity Baptist Church. Christopher is preceded in death by parents Garland and Laura Thompson, brothers William and Ranold Thompson, sisters, Gretel Keels, Maxine Cruze, and Virginia Gordon. He was blessed and loved by a host of many nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.
