Claude Victor Berry was born May 23, 1925 in Wise County, Virginia, where he lived until his teen years. He later moved to Columbus, Ohio. Claude served in the United States Army during World War II, from 1943 to 1946. He was employed at Lennox Industries for thirty years until his retirement. Claude was baptized and received Christ at Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church and served as a Deacon for many years. Finally, he was led by God to Faith Ministries Church, where he remained until God called him home. At Faith Ministries, he served as a Deacon, a member of the male chorus, a member of the G men, prison ministries, and as a church greeter. Claude was a trusting servant of the Lord and will be deeply missed by all. On Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the age of 89, Claude Victor Berry went home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Rebecca Berry, and his six loving brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Irene; daughters, Anita Berry and Claudia B. Berry; two grandsons, Victor M. Berry-George and Thomas W. Berry-Spann; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
