Claudine Louise Tate

Claudine Louise Tate was born February 8, 1937 to Willie Overton Tate and Bessie Shepherd Tate in Huntington, West Virginia. In her youth, she was involved in various sports including basketball and cheerleading. She graduated from Douglass High School in 1954. She later moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she resided for over 50 years. She was a faithful member of St. Dominic Church and retired from Grant Medical Center after more than 42 years of employment. Claudine passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at her residence. She was predeceased by her parents, and Elaine and Willie Westmoreland. She leaves to cherish her memory, son Glen Overton Tate; daughters Sheryl Denise Tate and Kimberly Evette Tate; grandchildren Aleasha Tate and Steven Tate; great grandchildren, Kaylin Johnson, De Alisa Patterson, and De Leah Patterson; best friend India Hughes; a host of other relatives and friends.
